Abstrakt		Background and methods. The authors have presented the first case of a multisystem disorder in Slovenia, in which an osteosclerotic myeloma was associated with a severe demyelinating sensorimotor peripheral neuropathy. This multisystem disorder is referred to as POEMS (Polyneurnpathy, Organomegaly, Endocrinopathy, M protein and Skin changes) Syndrnme. Results. The clinical picture, the treatment, the course of the disease are discussed, and the findings compared with those in the literature.
