Abstrakt | Nutrient composition as well as tireostatic glucosinolate content were estimated in 4 samples of oil rapeseed 12 samples of rapeseed cakes and 48 samples of rapeseed meal. Rapeseed and rapeseed cakes contamed 49.8 (10.7-67.0) mmol/kg 5-vinyloxazolidine-2-thione 14.35 (8.5-20.9) mmol/kg 3-butenylisothiocianate and 1.44 (1.102.28) mmol/kg 4-penthenylisothiocianate. In rapeseed meal high variations of glucosinolate content were found. While in the rapeseed meal of the domestic producer a low level of vinyloxazolidine-2-thione (17.9 +- 3.64 mmol/kg) 3-butenylisothiocianate (5.30 +- 1.83 mmol/kg) and 4-penthenylisothiocianate (0.41 +- 0.19 mmol/kg) were found, in those of other Yugoslav producers a three times higher aglucone content - the same as in rapeseed - was stated. For final evaluation of a possible harmful effect of domesuc rapeseed meal with low aglucone content the detection of other glucosinolate products and their biological testing should be carried out. | |
