| Abstrakt | The iron hand from Slovenia, its form and function are discribed to demonstrate prosthetics achievements in the Middle Ages. Another big step forward in the field of hand replacement is high resolution digital CAD-CAM system combined with silicon technology, developed in Ljubljana. In the third part, an up-to-date review of hand allotransplantations is presented. |
