Abstrakt		Frequent attenders to a health centre still represent a poorly elamined čroup of patients. Therefore I tr.ied to find those characteristics that. divide t:hem from other attendčrs !:o a hečlth nentre. The researeh period lasted one year. Sampling is eltensič-ely described. In order to annulate the influence of age and set on the number of visits to the doctor, I standarized the data on the visitors to the health centre according to these two parametčrs. I compared the illnesses (leading diagnoses, number of different diačnoses), some basic demographic characteristics (sex, age, immigration), family characteristics (number of family members, family type and cycle), distance from the hea.lth centre and characteristics of a doctor's work (repeat prescriptions, number of visits per illness, number of interventions, the frequence of injections, referrals and prescribing). I found differences in illnesses (more psychiatric diagnoses and chronical diseases), characteristics of a doctor's worlt (more repeat prescriptions, referrals and injections), prescribing, and partly in distance from the health centre. Family charaćteristics and immigration factors were not statistically different.
