Abstrakt     Mild traumatic brain injury (MTBI) or "concussion" is one of the most frequent diagnoses in the field of central nervous system injuries. For most people, MTBI is self limiting and generally follows a predictable course, but for minority of patients ("miserable minority"), the recovery is slow and uncomplete, which leads to long-term limitations. Due to the lack of clinically objective methods that could asses the severity and duration of the symptoms, the interest as well understanding of the medical experts for the prolonged problems of subjects after MTBI is small, that leads to potentiation of frustrations and symptoms. While treating subjects after MTBI, we must consider the pre-injury factors, injury severity factors and mechanisms, as well post-injury psycho-social factors.
