Abstrakt		The communication between physicians represents a great problem during patient care. The authoress shows the communication between GP and specialist gastroenterologist in outpatient department of endoscopy. From november 1991 to march 1992, 826 patients wene examinated in are outpatient department of endosoopy. A review of referral and findings enabled her to get the data about age and sex of examinated patients the referral diagnosis and to make an assessment about legibility of referral and quality of communication between physicians. 49.5 per cent of referrals were difficult to read and 3.5 per cent were illegible. The communication between physicians was in 65.7 per cent assessed as poor and in only 0.9 per cent as very good. Communication betWeen physician is poor In GP referrals are not enough lor the information about patient (history of disease, therapy) and they are also difficult to read. On the other side, the typed specialists findings are often without diagnosis and recomended therapy. But with the changes in health sistem and with the permanent reminding that a good communication between physicians is of great importance for patient's well-being, an improvement of present state is to be expected.
