Abstrakt     In the article the activities connected with World AIDS Day and their influence on the public awareness were presented. A street poll was performed two weeks after 1st December. The results have shown, that the majority of people were aids conscious. We evaluated the role of individual mass-media during the campaign at the occasion of the World AIDS Day and their role regarding the age group.
