Abstrakt		The technique of ultrasound guided free-handed percutaneous fine-needle aspiration biopsy of liver in dogs has been tested. The most convenient needle for punction has been established and the behavior of dogs during the procedure has been followed. Our work has indicated, that FNAB is convenient for clinical diagnostics of liver diseases. It is a simple, rapid and efective method, which gives adequate samples of cytologic material for further examination. The exactness of results is high and the costs of the procedure are low.
