Abstrakt		Background. Postradiation caries is a sideeffect of radiotherapy of head and neck malignomas which is supposed to be the consequence of postradiation changes of saliva. Results and conclusions. In the article the authors are presenting the successful cases prevention of postradiation caries in patients treated at Institute for Oncology in Ljubljana. With regular topical cure using fluoride preparates, this form of caries can be prevented.
