Abstrakt		APECED is a rare hereditary disease characterized by multiple endocrine deficiencies, chronic candidiasis and ectodermal dystrophy. Hypoplasia of dental enamel can also be present. We describe two patients with APECED who had severely hypoplastic enamel of all premolars and second and third molars. Also the structure of their enamel was aberrant. Their salivary pH and salivary flow did not differ significantly from values measured in healthy control children. However, the specific density of their saliva was significantly increased, which might pose a risk to their oral health.
