Abstrakt		The structure of the dental service for young people at the Health Centre Domžale differs from the classical organization adopted in most other health centres. Since 1976 the pedodontist has fulfilled the function of a personal dentist serving a population of children from 3 to 18 years of age and students living in a certain area (school district). With the abolition of separate dental clinics tor pre-school, primary - and secondary-school children, the organization of the dental service has conformed to the new health care policy built on the concept of the family, personal physician.
