Abstrakt     On a sample of 236 students at the University of Ljubljana, academic year 1968/69, fifteen flexibility measures taken with a classical protractor, and twenty-one measures of morphological characteristics were applied. Good measuring characteristics were applied flexibility measures were established by means of RTT7/G programme. The results of the measurement are only to a minor degree dependant on the influence of the variable effects of non-systematic factors. Based on the body measures, the results obtained in the flexibility tests were assessed by regression analysis. It was found out that also with the measures obtained with a protractor, body mass and subcutaneous fat tissue are those factors that affect the results of the flexibility measurements. Only eight out fifteen measures show significant effects of morphologic characteristics on the result. Flexibility measures with a protractor are less affected by morphological characteristics than linear measures, the degree of their reliability, validity, and applicability being lower than with the other two measuring procedures presented in previous articles. For the realistic measurement of the applitude of the movements we can therefore with high realiability recommend the use of a gravitation goniometer that, by uniting the best characteristics, proved to be the most suitable of the three procedures applied.
