Abstrakt		Side effect is any unintended effect of a pharmaceutical product occuring at doses normally used in man, which is related to the pharmacological properties of the drug. Adverse event (Adverse experience) is any untoward medical occurence that may present during treatment with pharmaceutical product but which does not necessarily have a causal relationship with this treatment. Adverse reaction is a response to a drug which is noxius and unintended, and which occurs at doses normally used in man for the prophylaxis, diagnosis, or therapy of disease, or for the modification of physiological function. Adverse reactions are classified as Type A (Augmented) reactions, which are identical to side effects, and as Type B (Bizarre) reactions, which occur only in some people. There are also tree subordinate types recognised: Type C (continuous) reactions, Type D (Deleyed) reactions, and type E (Ending of use) reactions. In the rest of the article the adverse reactions are described according to their causes and clinical manifestations.
