Abstrakt		Many drugs - but not all of them in every case - develop toxic actions in kidneys: from acetylsalicylic acid, non steroid antirheumatic frugs, analgesics, many antibiotics to heavy metals and radiopaque media. Old age, diabetes and some other diseases are predisposing factors. Toxic actions are directed in different parts of the organ, some are glomerular nephritis, some tubular degenerative or necrotic, both even combined. One way of action is direct toxic, the other is of immunological origin. Early diagnosis is very important. To that purpose careful clinical observation with current laboratory examinations are necessary. The prognosis is generally good if early diagnosed, the drug omitted and in immunological disorders never given again.
