Abstrakt		Ectopic decidual transformation is a well-documented phenomenon that occurs most often in the ovary and cervix but can also be present on the serosal surfaces of the abdominal organs. Although generally asymptomatic, ectopic decidua sometimes mimics acute appendicitis or causes intraabdominal bleeding. We report a case of ectopic decidual transformation and present a review of the literature.
