Abstrakt		The article attempts to embrace and connect the followingproblem areas, which are indicated in the title:communication as a social skill, symbols and symbolism, socio psychological analitical aspects (socio and psycholinguistics) of the verbal interaction, some theoretical options, regarding the relation between language and cognition, possible relations between semantics, syntax, pragmatics and (speech) style. In addition to the authors' investigation of individual aspects of this field the basis of the access to the analysis of the discourse, as developed by Brenner and Hjelmquist (and restricted to formal and functional aspects) is also presented.
