| Abstrakt | Acute cholangitis is a serious complication occurring in patients with extrahepatic obstruction of the biliary tract, most commonly due to common bile duct stones. Mortality rates associated with this complication range from 10 to 18 per cent. Two cases of acute cholangitis are presented. | |
