Abstrakt		The paper deals with a case of gingival hyperplasia caused by Cyslosporin-A in a female heart transplant recipient. Local factors of irritation must be controlled with frequent, regular care of the oral cavity provided by the dentist. Operation is an adjunctive treatment rather than the basic one. Motivation of the patient for oral hygiene maintenance is essential. Recurrences cannot be avoided but they can be delayed.
