Abstrakt		The author points out the complex nature of the treatment of hypodontic cases suggesting the best possible solution in the team-work approach. For this purpose they carried out examinations on 30 patiens: 5 males and 25 females, from 14 to 20 years of age. In these patients the necessary space for the massing tooth was preserved by means of orthodontic appliances. On completion of orthodontic treatment prosthetic rehabilitation was carried out, the missing tooth was replaced by a Meryland bridge in the intercanine segment. The results of such treatment proved to be satisfactory from both functional and esthetic point of view. The author recomends an objective analysis of the treatment by modern computerised analysis of occlusal-articulatory interrelationship of the jaws.
