Abstrakt		Between the year 1972 - 1991 59 children with nephroblastoma (34 boys and 25 girls), 3 years age in average, were operated at the Urologic Clinic in Ljubljana. Before the beginning of treatment 31 (53 percent) patients had the I. stage of their disease. All children were operated, 25 of them received chemotherapy, 33 chemotherapy and radiotherapy. After 12 years in average, 38 (80 percent) out of 47 controlled patients were still alive. Survival rate of patients in the I. stage was 92 percent. 15 (32 percent) children had the recidive of disease. 9 (20 percent) patients died because of progression of their disease. All of them had lung metastases, in two patients metastases in the liver were also found and one patient had them additionally in the fossa supraclavicularis.
