Abstrakt		The article deals with principles of the workshops, which became well accepted among general practitioners. Evaluation has shown the effectiveness of this kind of postgraduate education. Look to the future shows the need for grater number of workshops organized through all the year. Because of reestablishing the key role of primary care there are several topics to be dealt with on the workshops. Growing interest and demands of participants show that organization and conducting of workshops should become an important part of activities of future Institute for Family Practice at Medical Faculty.
