Abstrakt     Teoretična izhodišča: Urgentna zdravstvena nega predstavlja posebno področje zdravstvene oskrbe pacientov. Medicinska sestra v urgentni dejavnosti prihaja v stik z ljudmi vseh starosti. Zagotavljati mora kakovostno zdravstveno nego za ljudi z različnimi boleznimi ali poškodbami, ki variirajo vse od vnetega grla pa do srčnega infarkta. Percepcija pacientov v urgentni zdravstveni oskrbi se razlikuje od tiste na drugih oddelkih v bolnišnici predvsem zaradi nenačrtovane narave obiska, kaotične narave okolja in negotovosti o tem, kaj je s posameznikom narobe. Za doseganje ustrezne kakovosti v zdravstveni negi morajo biti negovalne intervencije izvedene v skladu s pričakovanji pacientov. Metode: Uporabili smo kvantitativno raziskovalno metodologijo in deskriptivno metodo dela. Tehniko zbiranja podatkov je predstavljal standardiziran CECSS vprašalnik. Vprašalnike smo razdelili med 110 pacientov, ki so obiskali službo nujne medicinske pomoči in so izpolnjevali vključitvene kriterije. Za analizo spremenljivk smo uporabili opisno statistiko. Analizo razlik in povezanost spremenljivk pa smo računali s t-testom in Pearsonovim korelacijskim koeficientom. Rezultati: Rezultati raziskave so pokazali, da je večina pacientov zadovoljna s kakovostjo izvedene zdravstvene nege. Dokazali smo statistično signifikantno razliko med moškimi in ženskami v celokupnem zadovoljstvu. Najbolj so s kakovostjo zdravstvene oskrbe zadovoljne ženske. Pearsonov korelacijski koeficient je pokazal pozitivno povezanost med dajanjem informacij in tehničnimi kompetencami medicinske sestre. Razprava: Pacienti so zadovoljni s kakovostjo izvedene zdravstvene nege. Za zdravstveno osebje v urgentnih centrih predstavlja ugotavljanje zadovoljstva pacientov s kakovostjo zdravstvene nege velik izziv. Zadovoljstvo pacientov bo v prihodnosti predstavljalo pomembno vlogo pri nenehnem izboljševanju kakovosti urgentne zdravstvene nege ter posledično k dvigovanju le-te.Theoretical background: Emergency nursing care represents a specific area of health care for patients. The nurse in the emergency meets people of all ages. It should provide quality nursing care for people with various illnesses or injuries, ranging from sore throat to a heart attack. Perception of patients in emergency nursing care differs from the other departments in the hospital mainly due to the unplanned nature of the visit, the chaotic nature of the environment and the uncertainty about what is wrong with individuals. To achieve adequate quality of nursing care nurses should carry out some interventions in accordance with the expectations of patients. Methods: We used quantitative methodology and descriptive method of work. We used a standardized questionnaire CECSS. We surveyed 110 patients, who visited the emergency department and met the inclusion criteria. For the analysis of the variables we used the descriptive statistics. We calculated t-test and Pearson%s correlation coefficient for the purpose of the analysis of the differences and relationship between variables. Results: Results have showed that patients are satisfied with the performed quality of nursing care. We prove a statistically significant difference between men and women in overall satisfaction. The most satisfied with the quality of nursing care were women. Pearson%s correlation coefficient showed a positive correlation between the provision of information and technical competencies of nurses. Discussion: Patients were generally satisfied with the care provided by the emergency nurses. Measuring patient satisfaction with the nursing care remains a major challenge for health care providers in emergency care settings. In the future, patient satisfaction will represent a significant role in the continuous improvement of the quality of emergency nursing care and, consequently to raise it.
