Abstrakt     The Constitution of the Republic of Slovenia Article 34 confers on everyone the right to personal dignity. Respect for the right to dignity is reflected in respecting individual decisions concerning, selection mode, and the processing of their personal data. Based on the review of domestic and foreign legislation and case law will be set arguments on respect for the dignity of the binders to the processing of medical data. Using descriptive methods will be presented to the processing of health data in practice. European law is enforced informed consent before any processing of personal data. Domestic legislation does not yet define informed consent for the acquisition and processing of medical data. Operators of medical information an individual offer pre-printed form, in which the individual has no way prohibit the processing of their personal data for research purposes. Nobody he also does not offer the possibility to prohibit the processing of medical data after his death.
