| Abstrakt | Beside estimation of adolescent's development a special aim of medical checkups is evaluation of his/her intention for further schooling and career. All children handicapped in career selection by certain health disorder are included in further team treatment. The article presents the results obtained in the period 1988/89-1992/92. In this period 131 pupils were examined by a health team. Disorders of the nervous system and the sensory organs (50), osteomuscular diseases (39), respiratory tract diseases (13), alimentary and metabolic disorders (10) and cardiovascular disorders (13) were the most common problems. A team treatment can alleviate distress of a young person limited in choice of desired career and advise him/her on appropriate selection according to his/her abilities. | |
