Abstrakt | Physical therapy is the most common method used for the treatment of peripheral arterial disease and is more effective than other conservative treatment of peripheral vascular disease. We can claim that it contributes a lot to a better arterial circulation in the affected lower limb. Exercises are one of the most effective, inexpensive and safe method of treatment of patients with peripheral atherosclerosis. They are indicated in patients with claudication pain (Fontain's stage II), and in some extent also in patients with rest pain (stage III) and in trophical ulcers and gangrene (stage IV). | |
