Abstrakt     The purpose of this study was to asses chronic wine ingestion on gastric emptying of glucose. Rats were allowes food (bricquets) and expiremental beverages (A: 11 vol percent alcohol, group B: white wine - 11,2 vol percent alcohol and group C: red wine - 11,1 vol percent alcohol) ad lib for 28 days. The remains of gastric glucose was smaller with the group C - red wine. The possible explanation of this phenomenon could be that because of drinking the red wine morphological or functional changes of gastrointestinal tract occured.
