Abstrakt		The purpose of the contribution is to detect mutual relations between the knowledge about nutrition and nutritional habits and some morphologic characteristics and motor abilities in 14-year old schoolboys and schoolgirls. 202 14-year old shoolgirls and 212 14-year old schoolboys were included in the sample of the examinees presenting the representative sample of the Slovenian youth. The data were collected in September 1993 and are the constitutient part of the study performed by Strel J. and al.: Analyses of developmental trends of motor abilities, morphologic characteristc and relations of both to the psychologic and sociologic dimensions of Slovenian children and youth between 7 and 18 years of age during the periods 1970-83-93. The variables pattern of knowledges about nutrition and nutritional habits included the inquiry form with 34 questions, as for example: frequency of meals, location of meals, absence of individual foodstuff in nutrition, knowledge about food... In this contribution 4 questions were chosen for comparison, concerning the knowledges about food and foodstuff: about proteins, vitamins, fats and carbohydrates.
