| Abstrakt | In this review use of cyclodextrins in asymmetric synthesis have been presented. Cyclodextrins have been used in synthesis of chiral drugs as catalysts and/or inductors of chirality in molecules. As catalyts they have been used in hydrolysis of esters and amides, where they can selectively accelerate formation of one enantiomer. As chiral inductors in molecules they have been used in many reductions, oxidations and additions of prochiral compounds. | |
