Abstrakt		The role of oral contraceptives in development of Pelvic Infection Disease (PID) has been controversial in the last decade. In the present study two hundred and thirty-eight patients underwent laparoscopy because of suspected PID. One hundred and thirty-eight healty controls matched the pregnancies. Study and control patients were divided according to study population by age, marital state and number of their contraceptive history in two subgroup: oral contraceptives users and non. Than we compered the incidence of PID, severity of the disease, Chlamydial salpingitis and serology between the two sub-groups.
