Abstrakt		In the present study the sensitivity and usability of TLC (thin layer chromatography) in toxicologic analysis when determining the presence of the AZINPHOS-METHYL insecticide in animal tissue in cases of acute poisoning were investigated. The presence of the insecticide was being determined in acetronitrile extracts of stomach and intestine contents, as well as in tissue homogenizates of liver and kindey of reptiles. On the basis of results of toxicological analysis by thin-layer chromatography, we consider the method adequete for toxicologic analysis of extracts of animal tissues in the diagnosis of acute poisoning with the insecticide AZINPHOS-METHYL.
