Abstrakt     The differences in the primary structure of sheep, bovine, rat and human dopamine D2 receptor were studied. Poly(A)+RNA was isolated from the distal part of the sheep adenophypophysis. This was used in RT-PCR reaction to isolate and amplity a 300 bp fragment of the coding region of the sheep dopamine D2 receptor cDNA. The primary structure of this segment of sheep dopamine D2 receptor was investigated and its nucleoitide and aminoacid sequences compared to the corresponding sequences in the rat, human and bovine dopamine D2 receptor. The fragment of dopamine D2 receptor gene is highly preserved between the compared species. Aminoacid sequences are the same in sheep and bovine dopamine D2 receptors, rat and sheep dopamine D2 receptors show 99 percent homology and human and sheep 97 percent homology. likewise, the analysis of hydrophobicity profiles in different species did not show any significant differences.
