Abstrakt		Arterial hypertension is less common in children than in adults, however, it has been found to be an important risk factor for early cardiovascular disease in adulthood. The purpose of this paper is to present the latest American and European guidelines for the management and treatment of arterial hypertension in children and implement them for Slovenian paediatric patients.
