Abstrakt     A new approach towards quality comprehension which as the main demand sets the expectations of consumer resp. client, is present also in health sector. The contribution deals with approach of the employed in the Institute of Public Health of Kranj towards the introduction of the system for quality assurance. Description of the Institute and of activities for establishing of present state and definition of priority tasks is given. Diagrams of course of work as a basis for process knowledge are presented. Process knowledge presents a base for continuous improvements process which is the aim in the quality assurance system.
Izvleček     Nov pristop k pojmovanju kakovosti, ki kot poglavitno zahtevo postavlja pričakovanja uporabnika oziroma odjemalca, je prisoten tudi v zdravstvu. Naloga obravnava pristop zaposlenih v Zavodu za zdravstveno varstvo Kranj k uvajanju sistema zagobavljanja kakovosti. Podan je opis zavoda in aktivnosti za ugotavljanje sedanjega stanja in opredelitev prednostnih nalog. Predstavljeni so primeri diagramov poteka dela kot osnova za poznavanje procesa. Poznavanje procesa je temelj za proces stalnih izboljšav, ki je cilj v sistemu zagotavljanja kakovosti.
