Abstrakt		Under the influence of anabolic androgenic steroids, a progressive high resistance strength trained athlete exhibited improvement in weight-lifting performance, which was in contradition with muscle biopsy characteristics. The drugs are supposed to act androgenically. In combination with training, they might have deleteirous effect on the muscle structure.
