Abstrakt		In the article the advantages of system of nomenclatures on local, regional and national level are presented. On the local level data about patient care (symptoms, findings, procedure ...) are recorded mainly in an individual descriptive-vocational way. This approach made those data as the most meaningful for individual provider. On the other hand those data are also the bases for statistics, quality assessment, research, regional comparison, epidemiological studies and billing purposes. That's why some standardisation or better use of system of nomenclatures is essential. The provider will use a system of nomenclature if no great additional effort is needed, his own descriptive-vocational term could be preserved and the system will facilitate research. For everydays' work a conversion system to the national classification system is essential. The authors suggested adoption of an international endorsed system of nomenclature; the choice among SNOMED and RCC seems reasonable.
