Abstrakt		Medical informatics has become more complex and has the same needs as corporate informatics. Medical institutions have to build their own computer networks in order to share data more efficiently. Client-server technology has a lot of advantages over classic PC networks such as data security and speed. Combining both technologies seems to be the best solution at the moment and we can still use applications that were programmed for classic PC networks.
