Abstrakt		Somatosensory evoked potentials have been used in paediatrics in Slovenia for many years. In our study we measured the somatosensory evoked potentials on stimulation of the median nerve. The normal values for latencies and amplitudes of the main peaks were set in comparison to body height and-or age. The measurements were made on 24 neurologically free children, aged 2 to 14 years. Latencies and amplitudes of the peaks N9, N13, N14 and N19 were defined and interpeak latencies N9-N13 and N13-N19 were calculated. Our results show that amplitudes do not correlate with body height. Latencies of all the mentioned peaks and interpeak latency N9-N13 do grow with body height. Interpeak latency N13-N19 however does not change significantly with body height after the age of 3 years. The correlations are showed in the charts including limits of the normal values.
