| Abstrakt | | In the first part of the article the classification of rheumatic diseases, their characteristics and main characteristics of clinical signs and symptoms are given. The therapeutic approaches are presented as well. The pharmacological and other therapeutic procedures are included and discussed. In the second part the general measures such patient's and his relatives' education, the patient care with special stress on patient's environment and regular medication are mentioned. The article is dealing with the aspects of patient's psychological state as well. With all this measures we are helping the rheumatic patient and trying to improve not only his life expectancy but also the quality of his life.
