| Abstrakt | General hospital "Dr. Jože Potrč" with it 120 year tradition is presented in the introduction. It has 285 beds with around 10.000 patients admitted yearly. In the related specialist clinics there are about 70.000 visits yearly. Author's developmental strategy of general hospital "Dr. Jože Potrč" in Ptuj is based on two levels: developomental strategy of existing activities and dvelopmental strategy of new activities. A special emphasis is given to the strategy of the development of new activities which are based on natural resources. - orientation of surgical department work towards the wholesame provision, from curing to rehabilitation, in connection with thermal water in the thermal resort. of Ptuj. - enlargement of dialysis department into so called turistic dialysis centre. New activities of the Ptuj hospital include also social programme for patients who need a continual medical control but do not need hospital treatment. | |
