Abstrakt		Some financial and organizational problems which have to be considered by private general physician before the beginning of work are presented in detail. The comparison between private out-patient clinical of general medicine and out-patient department of general medicine in public institute is demonstrated. Treated are primarily financial and organizational problems. Author is of the opinion that establishing of private practice outside existing public health facility (purchase of premises and equipment) present an increased financial and organizational risk. He also states that operation only with the Institute for Health Insurance of Slovenia alone does not assure positive financial results.
