Abstrakt     An exact control and regulation of the running speed is necessary in field running testing protocols where lactate threshold or other thresholds are determined. So it is important to develop an easy and exact technology where the runner can control his running speed by himself. Running speed is determined by sound signals from the cassete player (Walkman) with frequency which is equal to 50 m running distance at all running speeds at Repetition Running Test (RRT). Running speed control is possible by runner itself in the way that the runner must run across the each 50 m mark at the moment when he hears the sound signal. Speed controling and regulating technology is succesfull in RRT-1.200, RRT-1.600 and RRT-2.000. Real running speed deviations are not larger than +- 0.1m/s from determinated speed (frequency of sound signals). It is necessary to use 25 m run distance for running speed control in RRT-400 and RRT-800.
