Abstrakt		Information technology with its constant development is more and more involved in health care. Quality health care, successful research inbiomedicine and teaching demand appropriate education and training in medical informatics. In the developed world this problem is solved in different ways especially with introducing specialized postgraduate courses in medical informatics. At the Meddical faculty in Ljubljana medical informatics has already been part of medicalcurriculum for twenty years, and computer training for general and specialized programs has been organized for six years now.
