Abstrakt     Electrochemotherapy (ECT) is utilized for delivering of nonpermeant chemotherapeutic drugs like bleomycin in the cells and tissues. The aim of the study was to determine the effects of ECT with bleomycin on the natural resistance and the immune response of SA-1 tumor bearing mice. In the study we found that ECT causes significant tumor growth delay and 52 % of cures in mice. The percentage of monocytes (Mo) in venous blood able to elicit oxidative burst was significantly increased on day 7 as well as the blast transformation of spleen mononuclear cells (SMo) was increased on day 14. This results demonstrate that ECT with bleomycin affects not only the tumor growth but also the immune system of the treated mice.
