Abstrakt     Nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy can be used for non-invasive assessment of metabolic changes in human tissues and organs, either in various physiological and pathological states or during therapeutic procedures. The most important feature of the MR spectrum is the possibility of acquiring accurate data on chemical processes in the observed part of the body. This technique is also distinguished by the possibility of localised quantitative observations in vivo. Due to the important role of phosphorus in energy processes of metabolism and a relatively simple explanation of its in-vivo spectrum, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (31P nucleus) is most frequently used in medicine. In addition to the general foundation of the method, the theoretical bases of its applicability in the diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases are briefly discussed.
Izvleček     Z magnetno resonančno spektroskopijo lahko v človeških tkivih in organih neinvazivno ocenjujemo presnovne spremembe ob različnih fizioloških in bolezenskih stanjih ali postopkih zdravljenja. Najpomembnejša lastnost magnetno resonančnega spektra je možnost pridobivanja natančnih podatkov o kemičnih dogajanjih v opazovanem delu telesa. Tehniko odlikuje tudi možnost lokaliziranega količinskega opazovanja in vivo. Zaradi pomembne vloge fosforja v energetiki presnove in razmeroma enostavne razlage njegovega in vivo spektra, je v medicini največkrat uporabljena metoda magnetno resonančna spektroskopija jedra 31P. V prispevku so poleg splošnih osnov metode kratko nakazane osnove njene uporabnosti v diagnostiki bolezni srca in žilja.
