Abstrakt		Rhinitis is defined as an inflammation of the lining of the nose, characterised by one or more of the following symptoms: nasal congestion, rhinorrhoea, sneezing and itching. We discussed the causes and history of that allergic disease, with special attention to entities such as seasonal rhinitis, perennial rhinitis and vasomotor rhinitis. The clinical picture and complications of the inflammation of nasal mucosa in allergic children are described.
