Abstrakt		Maintaining efficient communications between prehospital care providers and the Emergency Department is important, as this: l. Directly benefits patient care. 2. Allows more efficient time management by both the prehospital personnel and the Emergency Department personnel. 3. Allows better and more efficient utilization of other resources, both prehospital and in the Emergency Department. Monitoring of prehospital communications should be a part of the quality assurance system in any medical organization, in order to maintain the best communications possible.
