Abstrakt		Chronic gastritis is associated with changes in mucosal architecture and cell populations. We report the changes concerning endocrine-cells that accompany chronic gastritis. Conclusion. Endocrine-cells play an important role in the etiopathogenesis of chronic gastritis, especially the cells which secrete gastrin, histamin and somatostatin.
