Abstrakt		The article deals with a multivariate research of relation between self-concept, "hardy personality" and coping process. The data were collected via the Slef-Image Questopmmaore - OSIQ (Offer, Ostrov, Howard, Atkinson), Kobasa's "Hardy personality" questionnaire and Lamovec's "Ways of coping with problems I" questionnaire. The simple was comprised of 234 seventeen year-old high school students from Ljubljana. We were interested in the correlation among the variables and carried out both a factor analysis and a multivariate analysis of variance. Results suggest that self-concept, especially some of its particular dimensions, play an important and positive role in successful coping processes.
