| Abstrakt | The paper gives an explanation of why we can say that smoking is addiction and not just bad habit. In Slovenia a law about the restriction use of all tobacco products has just been accepted. In the second part of article a short brief about the use and troubles of nicotine replacement therapy in the form of chewing gum and nicotine patches were described. At the end is also a list of some analytical methods for determination of nicotine and cotinine in biological fluids. | |
