Abstrakt		Morphological and statistical investigations of the larynx and cricoid cartilage of thirty infants up to one year of age are described. Parameters of the cricoid cartilage were compared to the size of innfants. A significant correlation between the inner sagital and transversal parameters of the cricoid cartilage on one side and body lenght and chest circumference of the infannts on the other side was found. Our findings confirm the value of some antropometric measurements in the decision-making about the size of the endotracheal tube in infants.
